Adelaide Crows

This weekend: Sturt v Adelaide - Saturday, June 29, 2.40pm, Peter Motley Oval

Rookie Patrick Wilson laid an astonishing 22 tackles in the Crows' 21-point win over Sturt.

He also finished with 24 disposals, eight marks and four clearances in the win. 

Defender Andy Otten had 24 touches of his own, while draftee Chayce Jones finished with 19 touches and nine tackles. 

After nine straight AFL games, David Mackay has been in and out of the senior team in recent weeks and finished with 19 and a goal.

Brisbane Lions

This weekend: Brisbane v Redland - Sunday, June 30, 11.40am, Gabba

Ryan Bastinac was everywhere for the Lions' reserves during their 97-point victory over Redland, with the experienced midfielder picking up 36 disposals and nine marks in a best-on-ground performance.

Irish rookie James Madden and aggressive midfielder Nick Robertson booted five goals apiece for the Lions, while former Bulldog defender Marcus Adams was named among the best players in his first full game for his new club.

Experienced duo Ben Keays (three goals) and Lewis Taylor (two) also hit the scoreboard in the rout.

Carlton

State league affiliate: Northern Blues (VFL)
This weekend: Northern Blues v Geelong - Saturday, June 29, 2pm, Ikon Park

Darcy Lang had the most disposals for the Northern Blues' AFL-listed players, finishing with 25 touches and eight tackles in the team's 14-point loss to Geelong.

The versatile Jarrod Garlett played forward and kicked three goals from just seven touches.

Rookie Hugh Goddard (21 and nine marks) and mid-season recruit Josh Deluca (20, including 18 kicks) found plenty of the ball in soggy conditions. 

Alex Fasolo also kept the statisticians busy with 20 touches, five marks and a goal.

Collingwood

This weekend: Collingwood v North Melbourne - Saturday, June 29, 2pm, Victoria Park

Forward Ben Crocker was one of Collingwood's best, finishing with 15 disposals and three goals.

With a rapidly expanding injury list, there weren't too many AFL-listed players who took to the field in the 19-point win over North Melbourne.

Tim Broomhead's long return from a badly broken leg last year continued with 18 touches and six tackles.

Veteran Tyson Goldsack had 15 disposals, five marks and a goal.

Category B rookie and former Australian basketballer Tom Wilson played his first game for the club and recorded a solitary mark.

Carlton

This weekend: Werribee v Essendon - Sunday, June 30, 11.40am, Avalon Airport Oval

Veteran midfielder David Myers celebrated his 30th birthday in style by picking up 21 touches during Essendon's 12-point victory over Werribee.

Mid-season recruit Will Snelling booted the match-winner late in the final term and continued his good form since joining the Bombers by collecting 20 disposals.

Experienced ruckman Zac Clarke had 14 disposals and 33 hit-outs, while Michael Hartley was adjudged best on ground after having a team-high 23 touches and kicking two goals in a rare cameo up forward.

Fremantle

State league affiliate: Peel Thunder (WAFL)
This weekend: Peel Thunder v Swan Districts - Saturday, June 29, 2.15pm, David Grays Arena

Young midfielder Mitch Crowden finished with a team-high 29 disposals, as well as 10 tackles and a goal in Peel Thunder's thumping 79-point win over Swan Districts.

After nine games in his debut season in 2018, Crowden is yet to crack an AFL game this year.

Second-year ruckman Lloyd Meek comfortably won the ruck battle with 36 hitouts, 20 touches and two goals.

Taylin Duman had 21 touches and six marks after being omitted from the senior team.

Recruit Travis Colyer was busy with 22 touches and two goals.

Geelong Cats

This weekend: Northern Blues v Geelong - Saturday, June 29, 2pm, Ikon Park

Young midfielder James Parsons was one of the Cats' best in the 14-point win over Northern Blues.

Parsons finished with 26 disposals, while Scott Selwood (21 disposals, nine tackles and a goal) relished the soggy conditions. 

Veteran defender Lachie Henderson controlled the game well with 21 disposals (18 kicks) and three marks.

Ruckman Ryan Abbott was sidelined for the second half after a head knock, while fellow big man Zac Smith finished with 29 hitouts, 13 touches and two goals.

Gold Coast Suns

This weekend: Sydney v Gold Coast - Saturday, June 29, 11.30am, Blacktown International Sportspark

Mature-age first-year forward Josh Corbett kicked six goals in Gold Coast's 28-point win over Sydney.

Corbett had a day out, finishing with 17 disposals and 13 marks to go with his bag of six. 

Connor Nutting joined him on the scoreboard, kicking three goals of his own. 

The number three selection in last year's draft, Izak Rankine, finished with eight touches and 1.2 in his first game for the year after a long-term hamstring injury. 

Midfielder George Horlin-Smith has played six AFL games this year since crossing from Geelong, and responded to his omission from the senior side with 27 disposals, five marks and five tackles.

GWS Giants

State league affiliate: GWS Giants (NEAFL)
This weekend: Sydney Uni v GWS Giants - Friday, June 28, 6.30pm, Henson Park

A last-gasp Ian Hill goal led the Giants to a two-point win over Sydney Uni. 

The draftee small forward kicked 2.5 from his 15 disposals and laid seven tackles.

Nick Shipley was busy, finishing with 31 disposals, eight tackles and five marks, while Isaac Cumming (27 and seven marks) was also prominent. 

Defensive pressure was on the mind of Daniel Lloyd (23 disposals, one goal) and Aiden Bonar (21); the pair laid 13 tackles each. 

Matt Buntine (eight touches and four tackles) and Jake Stein (six) were quiet after their omissions.

Hawthorn

State league affiliate: Box Hill Hawks (VFL)
This weekend: Casey Demons v Box Hill Hawks - Saturday, June 29, 2pm, Casey Fields

Rookie Harrison Jones led all-comers with 29 disposals in Box Hill's 34-point loss to Casey.

Jones also had eight tackles and kicked a goal in the loss. 

Harry Morrison responded well from his omission with 23 disposals and eight tackles, while the dependable Teia Miles recorded another 20 disposals. 

Big man Mitch Lewis had 17 hitouts, 16 touches and a goal as he continues to push for senior selection.

Melbourne

State league affiliate: Casey Demons (VFL)
This weekend: Casey Demons v Box Hill Hawks - Saturday, June 29, 2pm, Casey Fields

Jay Kennedy Harris had a day out in Casey's 34-point victory over Box Hill, finishing with 24 disposals and three goals in the win.

Ruckman Braydon Preuss absolutely dominated the ruck with 64 hitouts, 17 disposals and six marks. 

Corey Maynard (23 touches and 13 tackles) continues to build form after a few weeks off with concussion, while the dropped Corey Wagner (21 disposals) laid 15 tackles of his own.

Key defender Oscar McDonald has had a mini-preseason over the past few weeks and finished with 19 disposals in his first match back.

North Melbourne

This weekend: Collingwood v North Melbourne - Saturday, June 29, 2pm, Victoria Park

Ruckman Tom Campbell was among North Melbourne's best during their 19-point loss to Collingwood on Saturday, finishing with 26 disposals, five tackles, 26 hit-outs and a goal.

Utility Jamie Macmillan was prolific with 33 touches and eight tackles, while Paul Ahern kicked a goal from 30 disposals.

Taylor Garner responded to his club suspension with 13 disposals and a goal.

Port Adelaide

State league affiliate: Port Adelaide (SANFL)
This weekend: North Adelaide v Port Adelaide - Saturday, June 29, 3.10pm, Prospect Oval

Midfielder Tom Rockliff has put on an incredibly prolific display in Port Adelaide's 42-point win against North Adelaide in the SANFL.

In his return from a hamstring injury, Rockliff collected 57 disposals, 14 clearances, 12 tackles and eight inside 50s.

Veteran Justin Westhoff also looked a class above, finishing with 37 disposals, nine marks and three goals.

Youngster Sam Powell-Pepper collected 33 disposals, while Todd Marshall kicked a goal from 16 touches.   

Ruckman Paddy Ryder finished with 34 hit-outs, two goals and 12 touches.

Richmond

State league affiliate: Richmond (VFL)
This weekend: Sandringham v Richmond - Saturday, June 29, 2.10pm, Wilson Storage Trevor Barker Beach Oval

Forward Jacob Townsend starred for Richmond in their 15-point win over Sandringham on Saturday, finishing with three goals, 19 disposals and 12 tackles.

Midfielder Maverick Weller was impressive with 25 disposals and a goal, while livewire forward Jack Higgins also starred with 23 disposals and two goals.

Youngster Liam Baker kicked a goal from 18 disposals and speedster Connor Menadue finished with 13 disposals and 0.2.

Patrick Naish collected 19 touches and took four marks.

St Kilda

This weekend: Sandringham v Richmond - Saturday, June 29, 2.10pm, Wilson Storage Trevor Barker Beach Oval

Defender Jack Newnes responded to his omission after 123 consecutive AFL games with 21 disposals and a behind in Sandringham's 15-point loss to Richmond on Saturday.

Veteran defender Nathan Brown had 18 disposals and took seven marks, while Jack Mayo kicked 1.1.       

Defender Jonathon Marsh finished with 14 disposals and four tackles. 

Sydney Swans

This weekend: Sydney v Gold Coast - Saturday, June 29, 11.30am, Blacktown International Sportspark

Robbie Fox (27 disposals, eight tackles and a goal) was one of Sydney's best in its 27-point loss to Gold Coast. 

Veteran Kieren Jack had 18 touches and six tackles in his second game back after a hip injury.

Classy forward Daniel Menzel was dropped after playing his first three senior games for the club and finished with 13 disposals and a goal in his return to the NEAFL.

Jackson Thurlow also found plenty of the ball, picking up 21 disposals, seven marks and six tackles.

West Coast Eagles

This weekend: South Fremantle v West Coast - Saturday, June 29, 2.15pm, Fremantle Community Bank Oval

Youngster Jake Waterman dominated up forward during West Coast's 21-point win in the WAFL on Saturday, finishing with four goals from 11 disposals.

Rookie Josh Smith impressed with 27 disposals and two goals, while Brendon

Ah Chee finished with 20 disposals and 0.1.

Hamish Brayshaw was strong in the contest, laying 11 tackles to go along with 17 disposals and 1.1.    

Big man Nathan Vardy finished with eight hit-outs, nine disposals and a goal.

Western Bulldogs

This weekend: Port Melbourne v Footscray - Saturday, June 29, 2pm, Adcon Stadium 

In positive news for Dogs fans, veteran Dale Morris has emerged unscathed from his return from a serious knee injury in the VFL on Saturday.

Playing just 106 days after suffering a partial ACL tear in March, the defender finished with 11 disposals and five rebound 50s in Footscray's 49-point win over Port Melbourne.

Midfielder Toby McLean put his hand up for a senior recall with a dominant display, gathering 30 disposals and kicking two goals. 

Mature-age recruit Ben Cavarra starred in the forward line with four goals from 17 disposals, while draftee Rhylee West continued his consistent form with 20 disposals and six tackles.

Another mature recruit Will Hayes also impressed with 19 disposals and a goal.
