TRAVIS Cloke is willing to more than halve his pay packet to join 2016 premiers the Western Bulldogs.
Cloke has a lucrative one-year deal left with Collingwood, but the key forward is willing to forgo that to make a fresh start with the Bulldogs, according to his management company.
The departure of Cloke is likely to help the Magpies secure Greater Western Sydney youngster Will Hoskin-Elliott, who is expected to seek a trade back to his home state.

Paul Connors, who heads up Cloke's management company, said discussions to get the 29-year-old to the Bulldogs would progress once to Dogs' premiership celebrations had subsided.
"Travis is going there, if he can, for very minimal money," Connors told NAB AFL Trade Radio.
"The money is irrelevant to Travis. He's earned good money along the way. It's a significant pay cut … over 50 per cent.
"(Travis is trying to) make a good football decision and when you've been good with your money – and that's what Travis has been – then you can make those decisions."
Collingwood would benefit from the Cloke trade by freeing up space in its salary cap, allowing it more freedom to chase multiple players in the upcoming NAB AFL Trade Period.
The club has been linked to free agents Daniel Wells and Chris Mayne, while Hoskin-Elliott, who was recruited with pick No.4 in the 2011 Draft, has emerged as a key target.
The 23-year-old played just two games in 2016 due to injury and form and could be squeezed out of the Giants as their salary cap tightens.
"There's a likelihood Will would look to come back to Melbourne … they (Collingwood) are probably our preferred club if possible," Connors said.
"I think they (GWS) would look at it, (but) he's contracted.
"You don't just jump for the sake of jumping because he can definitely stay and that's a consideration."
Connors said he expected West Coast defender Eric Mackenzie to stay with the club, but the 2014 club champion would be open to a move if an offer suited all parties.
The respected manager said Magpies free agent Jarryd Blair would be given another contract with the club.
