JACK Riewoldt will become only the fourth Richmond player to reach 300 games but the star forward is certain he will not be the last from the Tigers' current golden generation to achieve the milestone.

The 32-year-old, who slotted his 700th career goal last week, will join three legends - Kevin Bartlett, Jack Dyer and Francis Bourke - on Friday night.

The lead-up to the clash with Brisbane at the MCG has been, as Tigers coach Damien Hardwick described it, "Jack Week".

Riewoldt's popularity has stretched beyond the AFL, with cricket legend Shane Warne just one of many famous faces to send him well-wishes.

While the triple premiership player will enter rare territory, he is excited at the thought of celebrating his teammates' accomplishments in coming years.

Shane Edwards (277), Trent Cotchin (263) and Dustin Martin (259) are not far behind Riewoldt.

"It's a little bit embarrassing to be honest. It's extremely humbling," said Riewoldt when asked about sitting alongside Bartlett, Dyer and Bourke in Richmond's 300 club.

"I mean, they're the greats of not only this football club but also of the AFL.

"It sits a little bit awkwardly with me at the moment but I think just the fact we've been able to have a successful culture here for the last five years that there'll be more players currently playing now that will reach this milestone.

"It just shows the strength of this group and the amazing stuff of this recruiting team."

Apart from a PCL knee injury in 2019, Riewoldt has been among the League's most durable players since being taken from Hobart club Clarence with pick No.13 in the 2006 NAB AFL Draft.

He debuted in 2007 as a prodigious young talent and 300 games later is a married father-of-two who has played in three Grand Final successes.

Riewoldt was joined at Punt Road on Thursday by wife Carly and daughter Poppy.

Bartlett and Bourke were also on hand to congratulate the popular clubman.

"One of the things I'm really proud about is that I've actually experienced the real lows of AFL football; finishing last and getting early draft picks and the hype of players coming in," Riewoldt said.

"Now to see the success, it's the way I have loved doing the journey."
