Andrew Krakouer's goal late in the third term against Port Adelaide has been nominated in this week's goal of the year contenders.
Krakouer's play, which has been viewed over 6,000 times on CTV's YouTube channel, delighted the Magpie Army in attendance at Etihad Stadium and is a sign of things to come from the star recruit.
The club is urging supporters to get behind the new Magpie and vote his goal this week.
Krakouer's effort is up against Jimmy Bartel from Geelong and Jeffrey Garlett from Carlton.
