PORT Adelaide has entered an agreement to broadcast two of its games into China.
Home games against Essendon in round three and Geelong in round five will be accessible to the Chinese via the world's largest television network, China Central Television (CCTV).
A 30-minute highlights program focusing on Port Adelaide, called The AFL Show, will also be televised every Saturday night.
Power CEO Keith Thomas said the agreement has the potential to be monumental.
"This is the first time that AFL will be broadcast on CCTV," Thomas said.
"It could be the moment that we reflect on in twenty years' time and say that's when China first fell in love with our great game."
