AFL Members wishing to attend the Geelong v Melbourne match this Saturday are advised to pre-purchase a reserved seat ticket to guarantee admission and avoid queues at the gate on the day of the match.
AFL Members can scan their 2008 AFL Membership card on the day of the match for general admission access in the Doug Wade Stand, Gary Ablett Terrace and standing room areas (subject to capacity).
AFL Members upgrading their entry to a reserved seat are encouraged to do so via a Ticketmaster outlet or online at ticketmaster.com.au using Ticketfast to avoid venue collections on the day. AFL Members can upgrade to a reserved seat for the cost of $11.05 for an adult or concession member and $3.70 for a junior member. These prices include booking fees; however additional transaction fees may be incurred. Reserved seating is available in the Reg Hickey Stand.
AFL Members are reminded that should they purchase a reserved seat ticket they will be required to present their 2008 AFL Membership card, as well as their reserved seat ticket at the gate on the day of the match. Gates open at 12.50pm and a curtain raiser between Geelong and the Coburg Tigers begins a 1.00pm.
Over 40,000 2008 AFL Membership cards have been mailed to date. All AFL Members who have renewed up until this point should receive their card by the first round of the NAB Cup. If you have not yet received your card and wish to attend the Geelong v Melbourne match this weekend, please contact the AFL Membership Service Centre by 5pm, Thursday, February 14.
