The team for Friday night’s Round 2 match against Richmond has been announced, with a number of exciting milestones to be reached when the first ball is bounced.
19 year old Tasmanian born, Daniel Archer, is set to make his debut in the red, white and black after he was elevated from the Rookie list last week.
Archer impressed during the NAB Cup and NAB Challenge competitions with his strong work in the ruck and notable abilities up forward for the Saints. With the addition of Archer into Friday night’s team, he will add extra support for ruckman Ben McEvoy, as well as some additional height alongside Riewoldt in the forward line.
As one player makes their debut, two other Saints will notch up memorable milestones with Leigh Montagna celebrating his 150th and Brett Peake his 100th game.
