• Indicative draft order: What picks will your club take to the draft
AT LEAST six clubs have expressed an interest in out-of-contract Adelaide midfielder Jarryd Lyons.
Lyons had a career-best season in 2016, averaging 21.6 disposals in 20 games for the Crows, while adding 15 goals as a midfielder and forward.
The 24-year-old was mentioned as a possible trade option as part of a deal, along with the Crows' pick 13, for Carlton star Bryce Gibbs, who nominated Adelaide as his preferred new home on Monday.
But Lyons' manager Winston Rous, from Phoenix Management Group, told NAB AFL Trade Radio on Tuesday that the Blues' plans wouldn't affect his client's future.
The Crows have tabled a new contract for Lyons, to which Rous said he has sent a counter offer, but interest in the midfielder has come from all over the competition.
"It's a mix of Victorian and interstate (clubs)," he said.
"He played 20 games this year and his contested numbers were through the roof.
"We're having ongoing discussions with the club around where he sits, and that’s been happening for about a month.
"Jarryd still has an intent to stay, but it's got to be something that's fair and works for all parties.
"By way of what was mooted on Monday, from a Carlton point of view, that's an unlikely situation.
"A lot would have to change for Jarryd to end up at Carlton via a trade."
Rous also denied that Hawthorn youngsters James Sicily and Bill Hartung had been spoken about as possible swaps as part of a deal for Gold Coast midfielder Jaeger O'Meara.
Both players were contracted and required by the Hawks, Rous said, and while both were expected to be at Glenferrie in 2017, he did leave the door slightly ajar.
"I can confirm no discussions have taken place (with Hawthorn)," Rous said.
"(James Sicily) had his breakout year, and would have liked to have finished off a bit stronger in the finals, but he's looking forward to producing some good footy next year.
"(Billy Hartung is) another contracted player and is every chance to be at the Hawthorn Football Club next year.
"I couldn't see anything happening there, but it's a very funny two-week period we're in."
