Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking an Event Services Manger to join our Corporate Sales and Events team.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales & Events, you will be responsible for:

• Leadership and expert guidance of a team of event services professionals ranging in skill levels and experience
• Implementation of the strategy with respect to the direction of the Event Services Department delivering a range of Club events, including major events, coterie events, match day events, internal Club events including those held at the True Value Solar Centre
• Development, implementation, monitoring and review of annual budgets and KPI’s
• Instil a team value proposition that ensures a ‘best in industry’ service model and a memorable experience for all clients, is provided
• Project management across EFC’s events and other assigned projects
• Assisting the Head of Corporate Sales and Events in the development & implementation of marketing & acquisition plans to maximise event attendances and revenues

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in leading and managing a team of Event professionals with a focus on planning, execution, reporting and development
• Experience in managing complex budgeting and profit and loss processes
• Ability to develop integral relationships with a broad range of internal and external Stakeholder groups
• Demonstrated experience in the development and execution of event marketing and promotional plans primarily using digital platforms
• Creative ability to enhance the current event portfolio whilst researching ideas for new products, whilst ensuring all EFC events offer an entertaining experience to its patrons
• High attention to detail with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to multitask and problem solve in a high pressured environment
• Experience preferred in a similar role within AFL Football or similar
