WESTERN Bulldogs star forward Jake Stringer will have scans on Monday to learn of the severity of the right shoulder injury he sustained against Gold Coast.
The 22-year-old hurt his right shoulder after being on the receiving end of a bump from Suns defender Steven May just before three-quarter time.
He walked off the ground supporting his right arm and emerged briefly from the rooms with his shoulder strapped, but took no further part in the match.
Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge said the early prognosis was an AC joint injury but not a serious one, with confirmation to be known following the results of scans.
Brett Deledio's injury-interrupted season has hit another roadblock after the Richmond vice-captain was forced to sit out the second half against Essendon with tightness in his right calf.
The 29-year-old received treatment at half-time and attempted to stretch out the muscle area, but spent the rest of the game icing his leg.
Deledio, who battled Achilles and calf injuries earlier this year that kept him out until round six, will now have scans to determine the full extent.
Fremantle's horror run of injuries has continued, with midfielder Michael Barlow and livewire Hayden Ballantyne the latest casualties.
Barlow was forced off in the first minute of the third quarter after injuring the AC joint in his left shoulder in a bone-crunching bump with Cat Lincoln McCarthy.
The 28-year-old emerged from the rooms in a sling and with ice strapped around his shoulder in what was his first game back from a fractured finger.

Barlow is likely to be sidelined for some time, with Dockers coach Ross Lyon labelling the injury after the game as "more on the severe end".
Ballantyne, meanwhile, played the second half with a suspected fractured cheekbone after receiving an accidental Corey Enright elbow in a second-quarter tackle.
The 29-year-old was sporting a heavily bruised right eye as a result of the accidental knock.
The Dockers' pair will have scans to determine the severity of their respective injuries.
Port Adelaide key forward Charlie Dixon is in doubt to face GWS on Sunday after limping to the bench in the hands of trainers with a sprained left ankle in the final term against North Melbourne.
The 25-year-old, who has had a checkered run with ankle problems over the course of his 81-game career, picked up the injury when Kangaroo Robbie Tarrant landed on his lower leg in a marking contest.
Speaking post-match, Power coach Ken Hinkley said Dixon's latest setback was unrelated to his previous ankle concerns.
Geelong defender Lachie Henderson was knocked out after running back with the flight of the ball in a marking contest with Docker Chris Mayne and teammate Harry Taylor.
Henderson was collected by Mayne as he tried to compete for the mark, before landing head-first on the turf.
The 26-year-old was taken off the ground on a mobile stretcher and gave the thumbs up to the crowd as he was leaving the field.
Henderson was walking in the rooms and did not have to be taken to hospital for further observation.

- Swans youngster Zak Jones hurt his left ankle in the final quarter after Hawk Ben McEvoy fell across his leg. The 21-year-old could not place any weight on his injured leg as he was being assisted off the ground. Jones emerged from the rooms with ice on his ankle, and will be assessed in the coming days.
- Bomber James Gwilt's afternoon ended midway through the third term with his left knee strapped in ice. He had earlier had his knee assessed during the first half but returned to the field.

- Demon Jesse Hogan was assessed in the rooms for a lower back/hip complaint he picked up in the second quarter against St Kilda, but played out the game.

- Geelong superstar Patrick Dangerfield sent a scare through the Cats' camp when he landed awkwardly on his right shoulder in a marking contest in the final quarter against Fremantle, but played out the game. He earlier picked up a corked right thigh late in the first term in a contest with Docker David Mundy.
