EXPERIENCED field umpires Brett Rosebury, Shaun Ryan and Matt Stevic have been chosen to officiate in Saturday's AFL Grand Final between West Coast and Collingwood.
The three were selected after they combined well overseeing last Friday night's preliminary final between Richmond and Collingwood.
Fellow veteran whistleblower Ray Chamberlain has been named as the emergency.
Rosebury and Ryan have umpired seven and six Grand Finals respectively, while Stevic will officiate on the season's biggest stage for a remarkable fifth straight year.
It will also be back-to-back Grand Finals for Ryan after he was among the officlals for last year's season-decider between Richmond and Adelaide.
Stevic will have the all-important task of handling the first bounce.
"Brett's had five or six over the journey, so I think it's my turn to step up and start the game," Stevic said.
"If it's pouring with rain, we'll give it to (Shaun Ryan) and he can kick things off.
"Brett would say the same thing, having started quite a few, that you're pretty toey. But you also understand that there are many other facets to the game that we're responsible for.
"It's an important part, but it's a small part of our overall role for the day in terms of our decision-making and managing the game across two hours."
Nathan Doig, Chris Gordon, Michael Marantelli and Mark Thomson will run the boundary, with Brett Dalgleish the emergency.
Steve Williams and Steve Piperno have been named as the goal umpires, while Matthew Dervan will serve as the emergency.
