Reigning club champion Andrew McLeod and Chairman of the Adelaide Board Bill Sanders will be inducted as AFL Life Members at an annual general meeting in March.

The AFL announced a list of 12 inductees – nine of which are players who gained their status automatically when they passed 300 official matches in the 2007 season.

The induction is further acknowledgement for McLeod and Sanders for their dedication and efforts for both the Adelaide Football Club and Australian football.

McLeod has played 283 premiership matches for the club, has won three Club Champion awards and is a five time All-Australian.

Bill Sanders was the club's first CEO in 1991 and held that position until 2001. He has served as Chairman of the Board since 2004.
