The crowd was the biggest in the events history, with over 12,000 Members and supporters attending despite the cool weather conditions.
The players were by far the highlight of the day and new recruit Barry Hall was a crowd pleaser, following his strong performance in Friday night’s win against Hawthorn.
The K9 Kidz Zone kept the kids entertained while the Cheer Squad’s sausages satisfied the huge crowds hunger. This year we also had a record number of exhibitors take part in the day and we hope to see you all back here in 2011.
Thank you to all who attended for making the day a great success and our apologies to those who were unable to secure player autographs on the day because of the demand. With our growing supporter base, it is becoming increasingly difficult for our 45 players to attend to everyone of our valued supporters. However at the Western Bulldogs we will continue to work to make our players as accessible as possible on these occasions.
Please see the website for open training session times, as your next opportunity to get up close to the players.
If you attended the Community Festival and Family Day please take 2 minutes to fill in our survey and help us improve future events for you our Members and supporters.
