GOLD Coast forward Danny Stanley's career is over, with the Suns opting not to renew his contract for 2017.
The Suns have also axed versatile backman Seb Tape, tall defender Tom Keough, and midfielder Luke Russell, who was a member of the club's inaugural list.
Stanley failed to add to his 88 games this season. He had been delisted at the end of 2015 and placed on the rookie list for this season.
Russell played three games this year for a career total of 73. He made his debut with the Suns back in 2011. Tape also made three appearances this season for a career total of 40.
Keough failed to record a senior appearance for the Suns after being picked up in the 2015 rookie draft.
The Suns also announced on Thursday that academy player Jesse Joyce had signed a contract extension with the club, although they would not specify the length of the new deal.
