PORT Adelaide has received a boost on the verge of its first finals campaign since 2014, with wingman Karl Amon signing a deal for another two years.
Amon, 22, suffered a fractured patella earlier this season but came back into the senior side in round 19 and has kept his place since.
Contracted until the end of 2019, the Victorian has been named for Saturday night's elimination final against West Coast at Adelaide Oval.

He told portadelaidefc.com.au it had been a tough season after being limited to 13 games, out of a career total of 35.
"I'm really excited to be staying here," Amon said.
"It's been a challenging year for me, but it's been really pleasing to be back on the field at this time of year and trying to help get this club finals success.
"I love the guys I play with, we're a close group and love being part of Port Adelaide."
Football manager Chris Davies praised Amon's attitude.
"Karl's development over the past couple of seasons has been significant and we're pleased that he has committed to the club for a further two years," Davies said.
"His diligence throughout the time he was injured was outstanding and he has shown he has the professionalism and work ethic to have a long career at AFL level."
Amon was drafted at No. 68 in 2013.
