FRIDAY night’s game against the Cats will be a great challenge for our team.

While the media nd supports have been building this game up from early in season the players and coaches haven’t focused on the game until after we finished our match against St Kilda last week.

Geelong has been the benchmark team of the competition over the last two years so it’s a good test for our maturing team. The exposure of playing in front of a crowd of 90,000 people at the MCG on a Friday night in a finals type atmosphere will be a great experience.

Having said that though, we don’t prepare any differently from how we did last week against St Kilda or the week before against Sydney.

When we have won games this year we have had a really good even contribution across the ground and that’s what we will be looking for on Friday night. Hopefully we can move the ball well into our forward line and give our forwards the chance to kick a winning score.

We are starting to get a consistent team back out on the ground again. Chance Bateman and Jordan Lewis returned last week and it was Brad Sewell the week before so hopefully we are starting to get our best 22 on the park as we work towards cementing a spot in the finals.
