The AFL is giving fans of the West Australian Football League (WAFL) competition access to live streaming matches like never before in 2022.

As part of the of AFL's commitment to live streaming, WAFL clubs and players will get greater exposure to broader audiences while fans, families and recruiters will have unprecedented access to watching their favourite players and teams competing in one of the country's best men's competitions outside AFL.

AFL Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial, Kylie Rogers said: "The commitment to live streaming WAFL matches for the first time this year ensures that the competition will be accessible to more people than ever before, with WA talent to be showcased to a broader audience.

"2022 is such an important year for the game in Western Australia and we are proud to have matches streamed live and free for viewers via the AFL website and AFL Live Official App, thanks to Telstra, ensuring WA footy is exposed to new audiences across the country."
