West Australian recruit Dennis Armfield is set to make his senior debut for Carlton, when it confronts reigning Premier Geelong on the rebound at The Dome on Saturday night.

Armfield is one of three changes to the team which accounted for Fremantle by nine points at the same venue last weekend. Returning to the 22 is Cameron Cloke and Bret Thornton, who have now recovered from respective wrist and knee injuries.

Jarred Waite could not be considered for selection, having this week incurred a one-match suspension from the AFL Tribunal.

Armfield, secured with the Blues' third round selection (46th overall) in the 2007 NAB AFL National Draft. His inclusion means that each of Carlton's three selections of that draft - Armfield, Matthew Kreuzer and Steven Browne - will take to the field for the first time together.
