PORT Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley says it will be a "trap" if his side becomes concerned with the dimensions of GMHBA Stadium heading into Saturday's clash with Geelong.
The Power haven't won at the Cattery since 2007, with their seven-match losing streak there coming at an average of 47.4 points.
Overall, Port has a woeful 2-12 record at GMHBA Stadium which, at 112m in width, is the narrowest venue in the AFL.
But Adelaide Oval is only 10 metres wider and Hinkley feels tinkering with his gameplan in order to adjust to Geelong's home venue might do more harm than good.
"I think that might be a trap if you get caught in trying to adjust too much to the ground," Hinkley said.
"It's a bit tighter, we get that. Everyone talks about the ground, but their ground is not that much different to a lot of other grounds.

"Everyone understands the unique challenge of Geelong at Geelong. They’ve been a fantastic team for – it almost feels like forever.
"We’ve just got to go down there with our eyes on our game."
The Power's season was on life support at 0-5, but four wins on the trot has lifted them back into the finals mix.
Geelong (5-4) is still searching for consistency and will be aiming to bounce back from last week's 10-point loss to St Kilda.
The Cats have been boosted by the return of forward Gary Rohan for his first game of the year, while Jed Bews (concussion) is also back.
The Power have welcomed back captain Tom Jonas and midfielder Trent Dumont from health and safety protocols, but forward Charlie Dixon will be given another run in the SANFL to help him build up fitness and form.
Hinkley was an assistant coach at Geelong when Port Adelaide last won at GMHBA Stadium - a five-point thriller in round 21, 2007.
Former Power star Domenic Cassisi kicked a goal at the 31-minute mark of the final term to snatch the famous victory.
"Dom was in the club during the week, so that makes me remember it, because he told me about it," Hinkley said with a laugh.
