Chris Scott gets pointers from NBA coach Brett Brown
Cats coach hoping to develop his skills from Philadelphia's Brett Brown
CHRIS Scott has taken time out from his USA holiday to see what coaching skills he can garner from Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown and his deputies.
Scott left for his holiday a few weeks ago after Geelong's best and fairest night on October 2.
As AFL players enjoy the final few weeks of their mandatory eight-week break in countries such as Bali, Italy, Spain and India, Scott is further developing his skills in another professional sporting environment.
Through links from the Cats, Scott organised to spend time with Brown and the NBA team's other coaches this week.
He attended a practice session and the 76ers' recent pre-season match against the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which they lost 88-99.
Scott is scheduled to remain in the US for a few more weeks and see more of New York as part of his travels.
