ED CURNOW is among a group of six players who have re-signed with Carlton, with the leadership group member recommitting for two more seasons.
AFL.com.au reported last week Sam Petrevki-Seton and Charlie Curnow were on the verge of re-signing with the Blues for three and two years respectively.
The Blues confirmed the pair had re-signed on Monday evening, along with Ed Curnow, Harry McKay, Andrew Phillips and Zac Fisher.
Like the Curnow brothers, McKay and Phillips are now bound to the Blues until the end of 2019.
First-year players Petrevski-Seton and Fisher, who were already contracted for 2018, have extended their tenure at Ikon Park until the end of 2021 and 2020 respectively.
"These six re-signings reaffirm the positive path we are on as a club and the belief the playing group have in our direction led by Brendon (Bolton) as coach and Marc (Murphy) as captain," Carlton football chief Andrew McKay said.
"While individually there is a lot of improvement to come, there's no doubt our supporters should be excited about the calibre of young talent we have acquired over the past two seasons."
