The Sydney Swans are currently accepting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals in the position of Multimedia Producer.
Reporting to the Digital Media Manager in the Club’s Communications Department, this position will have prime responsibility for the production of all Sydney Swans multimedia content for the Sydney Swans website and other Club departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In collaboration with the Communications Department, develop the weekly multimedia production schedule.
- Produce, film, edit and upload new and engaging digital content for sydneyswans.com.au and other digital platforms.
- Liaise with and deliver content for and from key stakeholders of the Club including, but not limited to, players, coaches, corporate partners, internal departments etc.
- Match day and event participation as required.
- Maintaining awareness of current and up-and-coming online video trends, technologies and techniques.
- Maintain a thorough and easily accessible database of your work.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in both filming and editing.
- Professional knowledge of multimedia software and DVD authoring.
- Experience with AV equipment configuration.
- Professional video camera operation experience.
- Knowledge and experience of video compression and encoding techniques for producing broadcast quality web video.
- Knowledge of AFL Football
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with graphic design and animation.
- Journalism experience.
