PORT Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps has shot down suggestions coach Ken Hinkley and himself are poles apart on the direction of the football club.
Talk of the Power wheeling and dealing during the NAB AFL Trade Period hasn't come to fruition, with a swap of draft picks as part of the Pearce Hanley deal their only involvement so far.
The Power gave midfielder Hamish Hartlett permission to speak with other clubs despite having four years left on his contract. After some exploring, Hartlett decided he wanted to stay in Adelaide.
Cripps was emphatic when asked if he was on a different page and to the coach.
"No, that's rubbish," Cripps told radio station 5AA.
"We've got a list management committee of which Ken and I are a part of.
"When we walk out the door, we're very clearly on the one page with what we need to do and that's no different between Ken and I.
"We have a great relationship.
"Yes, we don't see eye to eye on everything, but we have robust discussions and we work closely together to try and improve our list."

Hartlett played just 15 games for the Power because of injury last season, but is clearly in their best 22 when he's playing at his best.
"At the end of the season we had the discussion with (Hartlett) that Hamish was open to looking at opportunities," Cripps said.
"We agreed to that.
"Ken and Hamish obviously had further dialogue during that period and you'd have to ask (Hartlett) and Ken what was discussed.
"For different reasons it hasn't happened and (Hartlett) is still with us and that's fine, but we needed to explore those opportunities for (Hartlett) and for us."
Contracted ruckman Matthew Lobbe was also granted permission to speak with other clubs, but it looks like he'll stay at the Power.
It's the same story for midfielder Brendon Ah Chee despite interest from Gold Coast.
The Power's only move so far was to trade their first-round selection in 2017 for picks 19 and 30 in this year's draft.
With their first-round pick at No.9 overall, the Power now has three picks in the top 30.
"During the year we made a conscious decision to look at ways and strategies to get back in this draft," Cripps said.
"We rated the draft pretty highly in terms of its depth and it's a very even draft.
"We thought it was a good opportunity after the last three or four years of trading players in to improve our draft position."
