The match day report for North Melbourne's Levi Greenwood for engaging in rough conduct against Essendon's Mark Baguley from Saturday night’s match was assessed. After viewing all available footage and speaking to the umpire who laid the report, it was the view of the panel that Greenwood’s actions were not a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
Contact between the Geelong's Tom Hawkins and Hawthorn's Ben Stratton from the third quarter of Friday's match was assessed. After viewing all available footage and receiving a medical report from the Hawthorn Football Club, it was the view of the panel the force used was below that required for a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
Contact between Fremantle's Zac Dawson and the Sydney Swan Lance Franklin from the first quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. Franklin is leading to the ball with Dawson coming from his side. The ball bounces in front of Franklin as he attempts to take possession and Dawson goes to tackle his Sydney opponent and makes high contact. A free kick was paid at the time for the high contact. It was the view of the panel the force used was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
Contact between Fremantle's Aaron Sandilands and the Sydney Swans' Luke Parker from the third quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. Parker has the ball and is trying to evade Sandilands, who shapes to bump him. It was the view of the panel the majority of contact was made to Parker's shoulder. No further action was required.
