Hi Josh,
Hope your eye gets better!!!!! I just wondering if you could tell me if there is a certain something you get up to before every game, and if you listen to music what songs do you listen to. Hope to see you at the Richmond game, I will be there cheering you on.
From Samuel
Hey Samuel,
The eye is good and healing along ok! I always get to the ground two hours before a game, make sure I'm strapped up and then do my own little warm-up before the main warm-up. I kinda change my music up here and there, I usually have a set playlist for a few weeks and then change it. I have old school songs like from Blink 182, Cold Chisel, ACDC, Red Hot Chilli Peppers but some new beats from Pitbull, LMFAO and David Guetta. But lately I've been smashing Jimmy Barnes, he’s been getting me pumped for games!!
Why do the proud and mighty WCE take the foot off the throat when dominating? After all, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. 92, 94, 06 & 11... Why not!

Hi there,
I think it's a bit of concentration issue where we tune out for a split second, and when you do that with good opposition, they just hit you hard with a few goals! It's something we are working on and hopefully before finals hit we can start playing some consistent four-quarter efforts with the intensity that we know we can bring!
Hi Josh,
Another “heart stopper” on the weekend. It was good to see the team hold strong and finish off with another win. I hope everything is going well for you after your accident at training last week. What have you been up to in regards to recovering from this unfortunate event. I look forward to having you back in the side ASAP!
Michelle (Busselton)
Hey Michelle,
It was a great effort by the boys to step back, get in front and bring home the four points! Coxy was amazing! The eye is healing well, I haven’t been able to do anything since the accident because I can't let it re-bleed. If it does then I'm in a bit of trouble, so I've been bedridden since then. I got out of hospital Sunday, but I’m pretty much doing the same thing at home! It sucks but your eye is pretty important so I gotta take care!
Good win by the boys over the Dogs on the weekend. Josh, from memory you were a high draft pick. Being a high draft pick, do you feel as though you have added pressure place on you to perform at a high level straight away? Andrew Gaff is in a similar position this year selected in the top six. He seems to have handled the pressure to perform pretty well as supporters etc. expect a lot straight away. Tony
Gday Tony,
I suppose there is a little pressure. It took me a few years to come on, understand the game, get my marking right. I've still got to work on a lot more things now, but at that age you do feel a little pressure to perform. Especially with the guys around you in the draft, I had Marc Murphy, Scott Pendlebury and Dale Thomas who were all guns straight away! But all you can do is focus on the areas you need to and make sure you stick with it! Gaffy has handled it well, he's played consistent footy and had a great one on the weekend too!
Hey Josh,
It seems your head is a target, first McPharlin nearly takes it off and now big Coxy has taken your eye out. Someone’s out to get you, haha. Anyway, what was it like watching the extremely close game on the weekend (if you could) and not being able to do anything? Are you glad Coxy saved the day and made up for accidently taking you out? Will there be any permanent damage?
Cheers, Tyler
Haha I know someone might be!! I watched it in hospital and I wasn’t allowed to get my heart rate or blood pressure up, so in that last five minutes my pressure rose and the nurses wanted to turn the game off!! But good old Coxy saved the day. He asked me if there was anything he could do, I told him to bring home the four points for me, which he did so I was rapt! Hopefully no permanent damage to the eye, I just can't let it re-bleed so I've gotta take it easy and hopefully next week I'll be back at training!
