GREATER Western Sydney's talented list is ready and willing to tackle the growing expectations surrounding the club this year, according to senior coach Leon Cameron.
Speaking at the club's season launch at Riverside theatre in Parramatta on Wednesday night, Cameron said the players are well aware that last season's improvement doesn't guarantee that they'll take further steps in 2016.
The Giants won a club record 11 games last season to finish 11th, two games and percentage outside the eight.

Star recruit Steve Johnson has added goalkicking power to the forward line over summer and Shane Mumford, Dylan Shiel and Tom Scully have returned to full fitness after significant injuries last season.
Cameron told the Giants fans and sponsors that the players will need to work hard and remain hungry in order to make their first finals campaign.
"We could not be more prepared to hit this ruthless competition head on," he said.
"We want to play finals footy and we want to win premierships, but that doesn’t just happen.
"Seventeen other clubs are saying the same thing. The phrase 'you need to earn it' is well known for a reason.
"Make no mistake, we operate in a tough and ruthless business where winning is king … But that's what also makes it such a captivating business.
"Round one is just 17 days away, it’s an exciting time for our playing group and our club more broadly."
GWS chairman Tony Shepherd told the audience that he was thrilled with the way the club had grown off-field over summer, with membership up 24 per cent from the same time last year.
Shepherd also took time to thank outgoing general manager of football Graeme Allan, who quit his post last month to return to Melbourne for family reasons.
Allan is still working with the Giants to help choose his successor.
"Gubby’s (Allan) legacy with the Giants is set – he helped build this club over the past six years and can move on safe in the knowledge that he helped change the AFL landscape forever," Shepherd said.
"Gubby is with us for a little while longer – so it’s not quite goodbye yet - but I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for all you’ve done for the Giants."
