WEST Coast midfielder Jack Redden's starring performance against Melbourne has seen him rewarded with a maximum 10 votes from the coaches for the Gary Ayres Award for the best finals player.
Redden had 31 disposals and a goal as the Eagles thrashed the Demons by 66 points on Saturday.
As expected, the votes from the preliminary final at Optus Stadium were dominated by Eagles, with Jamie Cripps, Josh Kennedy and Shannon Hurn all receiving six votes.
Collingwood gun Steele Sidebottom retained his lead at the top after another outstanding performance, this time against Richmond on Friday night.
Sidebottom's 41 disposals saw him grab eight votes, leaving him on top of the overall leaderboard with 23 votes ahead of Redden (17).
Mason Cox was not far behind with seven votes, alongside teammate Taylor Adams.
Jack Riewoldt was the only Tiger to poll, nabbing three votes for his five goals.
Every round, the AFL coaches vote for the best players from their game. The coaches vote for five players, giving them a mark from 1-5. The maximum a player can score is 10 (with five votes from both coaches).
