Melbourne President Jim Stynes pays tribute to Club Legend Ian Ridley
Jim Stynes said, on hearing of his passing, 'Ian Ridley was an absolute champion of our club. I can remember meeting Ian when I first came to the Club. He had such a presence, and he was someone I drew a great deal of inspiration from throughout my career.’
‘Not only was he a sensational player and Club legend, but he was also a man with truly outstanding values.’
