Ladder un(Ltd) Development Program offers group and individual services which encourage and build the talents, skills and capacities of young people within the context of a supportive foyer environment; this includes integrated service provision with other service providers.
Programs include developmentally appropriate group and individual activities designed to improve living skills, independence, education, employment and training and link young people into their communities.
The Development Program is driven by an overall plan and includes elements such as a health and well-being program, living skills, leadership and group projects. All activities are developed with the goal of assisting the young people towards independent living.
Ladder is seeking a “Disciplined, Innovative and Passionate” (Ladder values) individual who has the ability to relate with and inspire young people who have come from a diverse range of circumstances and cultures.

- Management and delivery of selected Ladder un(Ltd) Development Programs
- Input into Ladder un(Ltd) Individual Development Programs
- Input into Ladder Alumni Program
- To successfully work within a small team
- General program duties
Management and delivery of selected Ladder un(Ltd) Programs:
- Perform and oversee the delivery of selected Ladder un(Ltd) Development Program as outlined in the Ladder un(Ltd) manual and in accordance with agreed outcomes
- Provide young people with assistance and support with tasks and goals related to their Ladder un(Ltd) Individual Programs
- Build relationships with young people in accordance to documented outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Ladder stakeholders
- Oversee organisation and implementation of planned recreational events such as day trips, celebrations and end of year events
- Plan and implement recognition activities for program participants
