The West Coast Eagles is pleased to announce a new and exciting partnership agreement with a Western Australian owned and operated winery, West Cape Howe Wines, which joins the club as the principal event partner.

West Cape Howe Wines has secured naming rights at West Coast Eagles corporate events, as well as pourage for all match day hospitality, and will be prominently displayed throughout West Coast Eagles corporate events and corporate match day hospitality.

West Coast chief executive officer Trevor Nisbett said the club was delighted with the new sponsorship.

“West Cape Howe produces excellent wine and has a wonderful reputation both within WA and around the country,” Mr Nisbett said.

“We look forward to enjoying their product at all West Coast events, particularly as we head into our 25th year celebrations.”

Established in 1998, the West Cape Howe winery is situated in Mount Barker, approximately 350km or four hours south of Perth in the Great Southern Wine region, where managing director and winemaker Gavin Berry creates exceptional, cool climate wines.

West Cape Howe’s quality reputation is world renowned, with James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion awarding West Cape Howe the highest rating of five stars, putting West Cape Howe in the top 6% of all Australian wine producers.

West Cape Howe’s executive chairman Ian Crockett said West Cape Howe was thrilled to be associated with the club.

“We believe that this partnership is an excellent fit for our business in creating increased awareness for West Cape Howe and our wines of the Great Southern Region,” Mr Crockett said.

“We will endeavour to provide some great opportunities for West Coast Eagles corporates and members to enjoy our wines.”

In addition to Mr Berry and Mr Crockett, West Cape Howe Wines is also owned by businessman Rinze Brandsma and viticulturist Rob Quenby.
