After a light first day of jogging and weights in Arizona, the entire Lions team and coaching staff took on the 12,633 feet (3850m) Mt Humphreys on day two.
It's a favourite climb for teams that train in the area, and while ice cold weather and howling winds got the better of the Lions last year, it was a different story this time around.
Perfect weather greeted the group and they took full advantage, with every member reaching the summit.
"I've done the hike a few times and it's not often you get to the summit. We were blessed with the weather," strength and conditioning coach Matt Haas told the Lions' website.
Haas said there was a physical benefit in doing the climb at the beginning of the two-week training camp.
"The thought behind Mt Humphreys is to expose the boys to some nice, high altitude early in the camp … speed up the adaptation and hopefully a rest day they hit the ground running."
It is the third year the Lions have travelled to Arizona, but the first year they have taken the entire playing list.
Queensland rivals Gold Coast have also landed in Arizona and have started their own two-week camp.
