WITH only two more days until the start of the NAB AFL Trade Period, talks are heating up among the 18 clubs.
It was a slow start to free agency, with Hawthorn making an offer to Richmond forward Ty Vickery, who is a restricted free agent.

Barlow to switch coasts?
FREMANTLE would be open to trading midfielder Michael Barlow to the Gold Coast Suns, according to The West Australian.
Barlow fits the Suns' desire for experienced players.
They are still in the hunt for Pearce Hanley and Jarrod Witts, but have missed out on Lin Jong and Hamish Hartlett.
Two Dogs in, one still to sign
The Western Bulldogs continue to lock in their premiership team, with midfielder Clay Smith agreeing to a one-year extension on Friday night.

The 23-year-old was a standout in the finals, kicking a couple of crucial goals in the semi-final win over Hawthorn before a heroic four-goal effort in the preliminary final victory over Greater Western Sydney.
His re-signing follows on from the retention of Lin Jong on a two-year deal.
However, teammate Koby Stevens remains without a contract for next year and has attracted the attention of several clubs.
'Jars' half full for Hawks
Hawthorn appears to be the front-runner to secure the son of Darren Jarman, with the Adelaide Advertiser reporting the Hawks have shown significant interest in small forward Ben Jarman.
The 18-year-old told the Advertiser, "I'm not sure if both (Hawthorn and Adelaide) are interested (in me)."

Ben Jarman is eligible under the father-son rule for both clubs with Darren having played more than 100 games with the Hawks and Crows. He impressed recruiters on day two of the draft combine with his testing.
Meanwhile, Collingwood should have enough points to secure Josh Daicos and Callum Brown, according to the Herald Sun.
Fresh start needed, says Ty
Richmond forward Ty Vickery says he needed a "fresh start" after signing a two-year deal with Hawthorn.
The Tigers have until Monday to match the offer to the restricted free agent, but are unlikely to do so.
“I’m excited for the opportunity and looking for a fresh start,” Vickery told Channel 7.
“I just felt it was a good environment for a fresh start for me, which is what I needed.
“It’s a really positive environment where I (can play) my best football.”
