ST KILDA is yet to rule out captain Nick Riewoldt as the team prepares to fly out to New Zealand on Thursday for its Anzac Day clash against Carlton.
Riewoldt, who battled calf soreness last week, suffered a fresh calf injury in his warm-up for Friday night's loss to Collingwood and was withdrawn late.
Coach Alan Richardson said the skipper would need to be passed fit early in the week to justify flying to Wellington, but the club had not ruled him out late on Monday.
Scans on Saturday morning revealed a low-grade calf strain and it is likely a decision would be made on the 32-year-old on Tuesday.
The Saints fly to Wellington early Thursday morning ahead of Saturday's match.
