After spending two years under Scott Watters in Melbourne, Graham will return home to Perth to join recently retired Eagle Adam Selwood as a development coach, working under the Eagles' new senior coach Adam Simpson and head of development Gavin Bell.
Graham played 37 matches with the Eagles across four seasons including 24 in 2006, although he missed out on the premiership.
The versatile big man continued to play on beyond his retirement from the AFL at the end of 2008, but his career ended with a horrific leg injury while captaining South Fremantle in the WAFL in 2011.
Graham told the Eagles' website he was excited to work under a new senior coach.
"I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this role and start working with Adam Simpson," Graham said.
"Adam is someone I’ve always admired from afar and I think he’ll make an excellent senior coach.
"I’m also looking forward to reuniting with some former teammates, some of whom are still playing, as well as Adam Selwood who has also taken up a coaching role with the club."
Football operations manager Craig Vozzo said on the club website that the Eagles were ecstatic to appoint such a quality individual like Graham.
"Jaymie has always been very well respected in football circles, and he has continued this reputation in his two years at St Kilda. He is always spoken of very highly," Vozzo said.
"We are thrilled to welcome someone of Jaymie’s character to the club in a development role, working with our younger players and managing their skills and career progression.
“He’s had some valuable experience at St Kilda and this is a great appointment for us."
