SUPPORTERS attending matches at the MCG this weekend will need to find parking away from the ground following the closure of Yarra Park.
After days of rain in Melbourne with more forecast for the weekend, the park has been closed to the public – including handicap patrons - for the two AFL games to be held over the weekend.
The MCG is hosting Friday night's Richmond v Collingwood clash and Saturday afternoon's Carlton v Melbourne match.
Yarra Park will also be closed to the public on Monday ahead of the Melbourne Storm-St George Illawarra clash at AAMI Park.
Selected gates will be open for emergency services, accredited media and MCC permanent and event day casual staff.
