THE CROWS new-look midfield has been dealt a major blow, with scans on Monday revealing emerging star Brent Reilly has a broken wrist.

Reilly was amongst Adelaide’s best players in Sunday’s three-point loss to the Western Bulldogs, but left the field in the third quarter after landing awkwardly on his left wrist.

The 24-year-old, who is just 14 games shy of the 100-game milestone, will be in a cast for six weeks, but is expected to resume playing as soon as the plaster is removed.

Reilly’s injury means the Crows will be without two first-choice onballers when they tackle West Coast on Saturday, with Chris Knights likely to miss another week with a quad strain.

Nick Gill (calf) and Greg Gallman (knee) will return to full training this week and are a chance to play for North Adelaide this weekend.
