Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking a Manager - Event Services to join our Events team.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales & Events, you will be responsible for:
  • Leadership and expert guidance of a team of event services professionals ranging in skill levels and experience
  • Implementation of the strategy with respect to the direction of the Event Services Department delivering a range of Club events, including major events, coterie events, match day events, internal Club events including those held at the True Value Solar Centre
  • Development, implementation, monitoring and review of annual budgets
  • Project management across EFC’s events and other assigned projects
  • Instill a team value proposition that ensures a ‘best in industry’ service model and a memorable experience for all clients, is provided
  • Assisting the Head of Corporate Sales and Events in the development & implementation of marketing & acquisition plans to maximise event attendances and revenues
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
  • Ability to develop integral relationships with all clients, suppliers and coteries
  • Creative ability to ensure EFC events offer an entertaining experience to its patrons
  • Strong background in developing marketing and promotional plans for events
    Strong understanding of profit and loss and budgeting processes
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of Event professionals, with a focus on development
