CARLTON has confirmed its interest in American giant Matt Korcheck, who will train at the club in July.
If they like what the see from the 206cm, 105kg basketballer, the Blues will have first right to sign him as an international rookie at the end of the year.
Korcheck caught Carlton's eye at a talent screening in Florida in April.
The 23-year-old obviously hasn't played much Australian football but has shown tremendous athleticism while playing basketball for the University of Arizona.

Blues list manager Stephen Silvagni said Korcheck would partake in skills sessions in July, offering coaches a glimpse of his potential.
“Obviously Matt is well equipped when it comes to using a round ball, so we’re looking forward to seeing how he will adapt to the oval ball,” Silvagni told Carlton's website.
“We’ll get him to take part in some light drills with our players including kicking and handballing.
“We’re really looking forward to hosting Matt and welcoming him into our football club.”
