RICHMOND forward Ty Vickery will have a nervous wait for the Match Review Panel's report on Monday after having an accidental head clash with Carlton defender Michael Jamison when bumping him in the first quarter on Friday night.
The veteran Blues' defender – who was set to play on Tigers' dangerman Jack Riewoldt – was subbed off with concussion.
It was Jamison's second game back since round four after returning from a calf injury.
There was no report made, however the clash will be examined as Vickery looked to bump Jamison to create space for his teammate and Jamison was not braced for contact.
Although the rule relating to accidental head contact was softened at the beginning of the season, players still have a duty of care when they choose to bump if other options are available.
Vickery has an existing bad record having been suspended twice last season, which would mean he would incur an extra week's suspension if he was found guilty.
Vickery's eventful first quarter continued after an accidental elbow from Matthew Kreuzer struck the Tiger tall in the mouth during a ruck contest.
Vickery searched for a tooth on the ground before heading to the bench, while Kreuzer went to the bench moments later under the blood rule because of a cut elbow.
Both players returned to the field, but the Blues were forced to move Simon White onto Riewoldt in Jamison's absence.
Jason Tutt came into the game as Carlton's substitute.
