ADELAIDE midfielder Richard Tambling faces a one-game suspension after being cited by the match review panel for striking St Kilda forward Adam Schneider.
Tambling and Schneider were involved in a scuffle during the first quarter before the Crows player appeared to elbow his opponent in the back of the head.
The contact was assessed as intentional and high but of low impact.
It drew a two-match ban, although Tambling's clean record means he can have the penalty reduced to one with an early guilty plea.
St Kilda defender Zac Dawson looks set to miss the Saints' crucial clash with Carlton next Monday night after he was also offered a one-game suspension.
Dawson was cited for striking Adelaide's Chris Knights during the first quarter. His poor record means that even with an early guilty plea he cannot escape a one-game sanction.
Adelaide's Sam Jacobs can accept a reprimand and 93.75 demerit points after being booked for engaging in rough conduct against St Kilda's Jason Gram.
The incident attracted a one-match ban, but if Jacobs pleads guilty he will be free to line up against Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday.
It's a similar situation for Demon Luke Tapscott.
Cited for engaging in rough conduct against West Coast Eagle Mark Nicoski, he can accept a reprimand and have 93.75 demerit points added to his record if he pleads guilty.
If Tapscott does plead guilty he will be ineligible to win the NAB Rising Star award because his offence attracted an original penalty of more than 100 points.
Western Bulldogs midfielder Ryan Griffen has been offered a $900 fine for making negligent contact with an umpire.
