ANTHONY McDonald-Tipungwuti's cult-hero status is being highlighted in the thousands in the AFL Fan Awards, in partnership with Google.
Essendon's recently re-signed star leads both the fan favourite and clutch play of the year categories, with voting set to close on Monday night.
ALL THE NOMINEES Who's up for the AFL Fan Awards
McDonald-Tipungwuti's last-gasp match-winner against North Melbourne will take some beating, but Lion Linc McCarthy's speccy and subsequent go-ahead goal against his old side Geelong is also proving popular.
Indigenous rising stars Sydney Stack and Liam Ryan are among the other fan favourite contenders.
Brisbane's Lachie Neale and Tiger Tom Lynch are duking it out to be the recruit of the year.
Meanwhile, Patrick Cripps' 38 disposals and four goals against the Lions and Ben Brown's 10-goal outing against Port Adelaide are the two leading contenders to be crowned the season's best individual performance.
The moment of the year could also go down to the wire.
Retired Hawthorn champion Jarryd Roughead's six goals in his farewell match leads voting at this stage, ahead of the much-discussed embrace between Richmond's Stack and Eddie Betts after the Crow's goal.
