PORT Adelaide speedster Jake Neade will miss Thursday night's JLT Series clash against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium, while promising midfielder Blake Acres will be absent for the Saints.
Jake Carlisle will line up in St Kilda colours for the first time, while Paddy Ryder also returns to football after a season-long ban last year.
Rebounding defender Jimmy Webster and small forward Jack Sinclair are the other two to miss for the Saints, while draftee Willem Drew and rookie Will Snelling were not named for the Power.
Port Adelaide gun Robbie Gray is being managed while Matthew Broadbent suffered a hamstring injury.
St Kilda has fielded a relatively strong side, with Leigh Montagna the most notable name missing as he deals with a calf strain. However, the veteran is expected to be fit for round one.
Meanwhile, Jarryn Geary takes to the field for the first time since being named captain, taking over the role Nick Riewoldt had held since 2007.
