Earlier in the season, 27-year-old Salopek was forced to switch SANFL clubs to get a League game in a bid to resurrect his AFL career.
The midfielder played senior SANFL football for Port Adelaide in the second half of the year, but wasn't selected for the Power.
His last AFL game was against Melbourne at Adelaide Oval in round 24, 2011.
Salopek was taken by the Power with pick No. six at the 2002 NAB AFL Draft and the club's football manager Peter Rohde thanked him for his service.
"Steven’s been a popular player within the group who went about his football professionally in his time at the club," Rohde said.
"We thank him for his 10 years of service and wish him all the best in the future."
Salopek is one of several Power-listed players set to test the free agency waters, with Troy Chaplin, Danyle Pearce, Brett Ebert and Jacob Surjan all yet to re-sign with the club.
