The VFL’s six Victorian standalone clubs will compete in a practice match carnival at Craigieburn’s Highgate Recreation Reserve on Saturday, March 4.

Coburg, Frankston, Port Melbourne, Northern Bullants, Werribee and Williamstown have joined forces to arrange the triple-header, which will feature the following games:

10:45am – Northern Bullants vs. Williamstown
1:00pm – Frankston vs. Werribee
3:15pm – Coburg vs. Port Melbourne

Entry will be FREE, with football fans from around the state encouraged to get along for a huge day of football.

Spectators will be able to purchase 2023 club memberships and merchandise on the day. Food and beverage offerings will also be available.

For those unable to attend, a live broadcast of all three matches will be streamed to www.cluch.tv/afl-sports/vfl/preseason-carnival.

AFL Head of State League Competitions, Jennie Loughnan, said: “We are thrilled to support the six Victorian-based standalone clubs in what will be an action-packed day of football at Highgate Recreation Reserve on Saturday, March 4.”

“We commend the initiative and collaboration demonstrated by all six clubs to put the day together and encourage all football fans to head along for the triple-header, as the six Victorian-based standalone clubs ramp up their preparations for Round 1.”
