ELECTRIC Adelaide forward Eddie Betts wants to "bring the joy back" with a trademark Indigenous Round performance to help the Crows consign last weekend's embarrassing loss to Melbourne as an aberration.
The Crows face Greater Western Sydney at Adelaide Oval on Sunday as they aim to put their 91-point thrashing at the hands of the Demons in Alice Springs behind them.
Dynamic winger Paul Seedsman (adductor) is a chance to return, while lockdown defender Luke Brown (concussion) will be monitored during the week.
Betts has made a habit of kicking sensational goals during the Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous Round.
His amazing effort against the Giants in 2016 was the goal of the year, while he finished in the top three with last year's goal against Fremantle in the corresponding fixture.
"You always want to do something exciting in Indigenous Round," Betts told reporters on Tuesday.
"You've just got to play on instinct and bring the joy back and have fun and enjoy it while you're out there.
"I've got to try and come up with something."
Despite the hefty loss to Melbourne, Betts signed autographs and took selfies with hundreds of fans after the game.
"I want to be a role model for these young indigenous kids," Betts said.
"I want to teach them what's right and wrong.
"In the community, there's a lot of stuff that's happening, whether it's through alcohol, drugs, abuse.
"I want to try change the cycle and the AFL is a great platform for that."
Betts said it was important the Crows looked closely at what went so wrong against the Demons, but they also couldn't get bogged down by it.
"We'll review it, learn from it and move on, because this week is a very important week," he said.
"We can't dwell on last week and want to get everyone up and about for this week.
"It's all about that attitude and intent.
"We have to train hard, train the way we play, and then implement that on game day."
Seedsman was kicking footballs on Tuesday in a sign the adductor injury that forced him to be a late withdrawal from the loss to the Demons isn't that serious.
The 26-year-old has been one of the Crows' best this year with his run and carry and long kicking on the outside.
Seedsman is leading the League for metres gained and is also in the top 10 for goal assists and Inside 50s.
"He's feeling quite good, we need him back in our side," Betts said.
"He's had a fantastic season on the wing.
"He's a big part of our team and he's an important player, so hopefully we can get him back this week."
