FOOTBALLERS have been belting out the team song after wins for generations, but Hawthorn players had a second helping after Saturday night's road triumph against West Coast.
Not satisfied with just singing the club song after the important 14-point victory at a soggy Domain Stadium, Hawks players broke into a boisterous rendition of Daryl Braithwaite's 1991 single The Horses.

Coach Alastair Clarkson revealed singing the power ballad had become a team tradition after stirring interstate triumphs.
The Hawks, who trailed for most of the night, came from three goals down midway through the third term to overrun the Eagles in miserable conditions in Perth.
Former Hawk Brent Guerra, who retired after the club's 2013 premiership, was the original songbird.
"It really tracks back to Goo (Brent Guerra). We had a really stirring victory here in early 2013 and it was Gooey's favourite song so he belted it out after the game and it's become a little bit of a tradition when we have a really good interstate win we get Horses going," Clarkson said.
"There was plenty of spirit in tonight's victory. We didn't play particularly well but we found a way to win.
"It was a really good opponent and a really difficult environment to play. Really tough conditions so we enjoyed it after the game and it was well deserved."
