Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking an Event Manager to join our Marketing Services Team.
Reporting to the Marketing Services Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Coordinating and delivering of Essendon Football Club’s major events
• Project managing events and assigned cross-Club projects
• Delivering a ‘best in industry’ service that provides a memorable experience for all clients
• Assisting with management of internal and contract staff at all events, as assigned by the marketing services manager
• Managing budgets including post event reconciliations and maximising profits
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
• Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills both independently and within a team environment
• Understanding and experience in planning and delivering high quality events aligned to objectives and target audience
• Ability to develop integral relationships with all clients, suppliers and coteries
• Capable of working a wide array of hours with a varying time schedule to suit the seasonal priorities of the football industry
