Aaron Black

kangaroos.com.au says:
Not too many players have had to overcome as much adversity as Aaron Black but in 2011, the key-position prospect came out on top.

On top of the groin problems that hampered his progress in his first year, Black returned for his first match for North Ballarat in the VFL in April after a year out, and made an immediate impact with four goals.

As his mobility and match-fitness improved, so did his output. He finished the season with 31 goals, including a bag of five against Bendigo late in the year.

His form prompted a call-up to the seniors and he didn't look out of place with a terrific first term against the Tigers.

The 20 year-old would be the first to admit he's still got plenty to learn, but Black is considered as one of the club's most promising players.
