NSW/ACT led from start to finish and opened up a 30-point lead at half-time before almost doubling the margin at full-time in the 12.7 (79) to 3.7 (25) demolition.
NSW/ACT jumped out to a handy 16-point buffer at quarter-time emphasised by Jack Lynch who kicked a terrific set-shot goal on the quarter-time siren to buoy his side.
They dominated proceedings in the second quarter and were able to discover some real firepower in the forward line.
For NSW/ACT, David Coward led the way in the midfield with 18 possessions, James Breust was a vital cog up forward with 16 possessions and a goal and Sam Milne played a valuable run with role on Jackson Allen.

Winning the inside 50 count 40-25, NSW/ACT were efficient up forward and also showed great desire to pressure the opposition with 45 tackles to Queensland’s 35.
Yet, they did not win every stat with Queensland ruckman Fraser Thurlow dominating the hit-outs in a noteworthy performance.
His teammate, Adam Oxley, also played a proficient game as a lead-up forward with 14 possessions and five inside 50s.
However, the Scorpions could not match the forward line cohesion of the Rams.
In defence, Gold Coast prospect Peter Yagmoor did what he could to stop the flow of goals, displaying accurate kicking.
But in the end, not even he could prevent the numerous scoring weapons of the Rams.
The match lacked a certain zest after half-time, as NSW/ACT continually zapped Queensland’s enthusiasm by peppering the goals and trapping the ball in their forward half.
NSW/ACT kicked six goals to one after half-time to dismantle Queensland in a terrific all-round performance.
