FORGOTTEN Geelong recruit Scott Selwood is set to represent the Cats for the first time in the VFL after the bye after recovering from an ankle injury.
Selwood had ankle surgery for a third time in October last year. He originally went under the knife midway through 2013 before requiring another trip to the surgeon in the 2014 pre-season.
The former West Coast vice-captain came to the Cats as a restricted free agent at the end of 2015 after seeking a fresh start.

Geelong head physio Mark Young told geelongcats.com.au that the younger brother of skipper Joel was finally ready to play.
"Scott Selwood's ready to go. He's pencilled in for a return game after the bye," Young said.
"All indications are he's training well and looking comfortable."
Selwood's most recent match at any level was West Coast's qualifying final win over Hawthorn last year. He was omitted for the preliminary final and was not selected for the Grand Final, which the Eagles lost to the Hawks.
He won West Coast's best and fairest award in 2012 and played all 23 games the following year, but hurt his ankle in round three, 2014.
Selwood battled to recover his best form in 2015 and played just 13 senior games before seeking a move to Geelong.
Meanwhile, Nakia Cockatoo has pulled up well after his return in the VFL from surgery on his right knee.
Young said the 19-year-old would spend more time on the field this weekend after sitting out the first half against Williamstown last Sunday.
